The holiday with our two children was soooooooooo nice in Villa kambel. 15 minutes to the airport and also Trogir and Split are not far. The location is perfect! Next to the sea, just a 5 minutes walk and our children love the pool area so much.
The house is so nice, brandnew. Everything you need is there (towels, kitchen utensils just everything!) The owners Boris and Jelena are so kindly persons, if you need anything, they make it possible. Thank you guys for EVERYTHING! We we’ll come back!

Bili smo u Villi Kambel East na Kastelama! Bilo je sve perfekt! Od Vlasnika Ville Jelene i Borisa bili smo jako lijepo docekani. U Villi je sve bilo jako cisto i uredno imali smo sve sta nam je trebalo nista nije nedostajalo! Sta god da nam je trebalo bili su uvjek tu za nas! More je bilo odma tu kod Ville u okolini je isto sve sta treba prodavnice i tako dalje! Mi smo bili odusevljeni sve je bilo Perfekt !!!! Villa je predivna! Jelena i Boris su jako prijatni !! Imala sam rodjendan dok smo bili na odmoru dobila sam od Jelene preljepu Tortu Hvala ti jos jednom! Sve u svemu odmor je bio Perfekt!!! Mi smo odusevljeni!!!!!!

We enjoyed our holiday at the Villa Kambel East to the fullest. The Owners Jelena and Boris are always there for you, for everything you need. We, three families with children stayed there for two weeks and it was so nice! You can walk to the sea, it takes maybe 2-3 minutes. The Villa is very child-friendly, the pool is big enough and from the top you have a beautiful view of the sea. Villa Kambel is even more beautiful than on the photos. We will come back! Guys, to be honest…we didn’t know where to start with our review. Let’s sum up just in a word “WOW”
But let’s start step by step:

The offered Villa Kambel is a very high quality Villa. Every room is very nice and stylish furnished and you have more than enough space in every room. The several rooms i.e. kitchen, rooftop bar and bedrooms are fully equipped – so you really have nothing to miss.

We spent a lot of time at the great pool at the nice garden which adapts to the nice interior of the Villa. Pool, sunbeds, garden shower, lounge area and the big BBQ make you feel so comfortable that we forgot the time and we were able to relax for a maximum.
The rooftop bar is also a highlight of Villa Kambel. As written above you have a nice bar at the top level with a panoramic view directly to the sea. Additionally to a lounge furniture you have also a Jacuzzi/hot tub for relaxing as well as a smart TV which is connected to the internet that allows you to watch Youtube, Netflix etc. in addition to regular satellite TV. All rooms are very cleaned up and in best condition. If desired the towels and sheets will be changed during your stay. A Poolboy which is also a very nice man, is coming two times a week for checking pool and hot tub properties.

The Villa is located in Kastel Kambelovac which is between Trogir and Split. You can reach them by car within not more than 20 minutes. Villa Kambel is in the second row, in less than 50m you are at the sea. There are restaurants, supermarkets and further stores like pharmacy etc. as well as two marinas close to the Villa.

But now let’s write some words (we believe that it’s really not possible to describe in written words) regarding the hosts Jelena & Boris which were incredible hosts for us:

It started with the coordination when we will arrive at the house etc. which was very easy to do. Both welcomed us so warmly like you were coming home – once again WOW. It wasn’t like “here are the keys – have fun” it was more an introduction as a family member which was joining Croatia after a long time.
The Villa was prepared with a selection of some fresh fruits as well as a great selection of meat and cheese. Furthermore the fridge was already filled with some juices, soft drinks and beer (great!!).
They took the time to show us the whole Villa with all the details which are included. They explained all the functionalities of pool, kitchen, hot tub etc.

Additionally they gave us plenty recommendations for adventures, sightseeing, restaurants…and also they were always available for us in case of any questions or that we are missing something. Fortunately they are living close to the Villa and can be on site very fast. Due to the reason that the Villa Kambel is divided into West & East and if they are both booked, Jelena and Boris are often on site so that you can easily catch them up for talking/asking etc. However, they were both very discreet and we have barely noticed them.
We did a boat trip with Boris which is highly recommended from our side – we had so much fun during this trip. We have seen a lot of wonderful spots at several islands in front of Croatia. The trip was planned perfect. Boris had some cold drinks on board, we stopped at a marina where we had the chance for something to eat etc.

In The night before we left, Jelena and Boris visited us again to say goodbye and for asking if everything was fine.
It was really a pity that we had to say goodbye – but of course we hope that we will see you again!!

So if you have read so far you’ll hopefully notice that we were more than satisfied with our stay at Villa Kambel.
Very nice location, perfect Villa and last but not least the more than perfect hosts Jelena and Boris which made our holidays so special.

A fantastic holiday at the brilliant villa kambel. Our hosts, Jelena and Boris, were so helpful throughout our stay and the villa contains all the amenities you can think of at a luxury holiday home. Whether bbq’ing for dinner, spending the day by the pool or relaxing in the bar and hot tub on the roof terrace – our party ranged from a 1 year old baby to grandparents and everyone had an equally brilliant time.

Boris and Jelena are happy to go above and beyond – offering a level of hospitality and genuine warmth you rarely find.

We all thoroughly recommend Villa Kambel and hope to return.

What you will see in the villa is even beeter than the pictures.
It’s really a villa suited with the top standards woth 5 stars hotels setup.
You’ll directly feel at home with everything thing you may need which You’ll find around you.
The hospitality and clean house are amazing.
The villa is totally private and in the middle of the town with everything you may need beside the house location.
You are in the middle between Split and Trogir, you can plan your tours easily to many locations accordingly.
We’ve stayed 6 days with our children and they really didn’t want to leave the house, they were swimming everyday and enjoying it.

Truly incredible villa with amazing hosts! Stayed with 2 friends for a week in the most beautiful villa. Everything was perfect. Jelena and Boris welcomed us with snacks and wine. They gave excellent dining recommendations and provided contact for a driver, Dela, who was extremely helpful getting to and from airport and into town. We loved the modern luxuries the villa provided plus magical sunset views from the rooftop terrace. Walking distance to local restaurants and grocery store. This was one of my all time favorite Airbnbs. Hope to visit again one day.

We’ve just returned from the most wonderful week at Villa Kambel. The villa itself is absolutely perfect. We have stayed in many villas in Europe, but none are as well equipped as this one. It has the feeling that it has been lived in, as everything is in the right place (sockets, mirrors etc). The beds and pillows are super comfortable, so you won’t be returning home with a sore back! It was exceptionally hot when we were there, but the air conditioning made the indoor temperature perfect. The pool area is perfect for eating outdoors and sunbathing. The pool itself has an excellent underwater seating section, which allows you to sit and read while keeping cool. But the best part of this villa has to be the rooftop bar .. it was the perfect place for the family to relax at night .. every home should have one !
We have never stayed in Croatia before, but we’re so pleased with the location of the villa, there are some lovely restaurants and bars within walking distance.. trips to Split, Trogir, Hvar, Krka Falls we’re all within easy reach. Taxis are very reliable and can be pre-booked for all return journeys. A must do trip is the Villa Kambel boat out to the islands .. it’s a perfect day trip.
Lastly I have to say that the whole holiday was made extra special by our hosts Boris and Jelena. They booked restaurants for us, took us to the supermarket, put us in touch with their friends taxi, organised our boat trip & Krka Falls. They also provide thoughtful touches like a beautiful meat and cheese platter on arrival, beer and wine in the fridge. On our last night one of our party was unwell, and Boris brought dinner in for him as he was unable to go out. It is their thoughtfulness that mean we will definitely return! Thanks again…

Villa Kambel is a treasure to be experienced. First our hosts, Jelena and Boris, were so gracious and accommodating, going above and beyond expectations. So much thought was put into the needs of their guests. All week Jelena was there to help with all our questions, reservations, and suggestions to make the most of our time in Croatia. She even drove us to the grocery store the first night!
The Villa was amazing. Absolutely beautiful home with everything a guest could want; roof top lounge with a jacuzzi, beautiful pool, bedrooms all en suite with comfortable beds. Restaurants and beach within walking distance.

Hats off to Boris and Jelena Katic; the best host and hostess team we have ever experienced. Their Villa Kambel property was the perfect location to enjoy the wonders of Croatia. From the time we arrived until we left their commitment to ensuring we had all we needed was unmatched. The property itself in beautifully designed and comes with all the amenities you need including the pool, a jacuzzi and of course the Villa Kambel Bar on the rooftop. A special thank you to Jelena who welcomed us with a charcuterie board with wine and then started our week by taking us grocery shopping, making dinner reservations, and setting up our boat trip. The boat trip around the islands was a winner and a must experience on any visit.

Everything about the villa is top quality and 5*. They have thought of everything, but if you do need something the hosts will be there to help with anything you need. My favourite part of the villa was the roof terrace with hottub, TV, bar (with ice machine) and magnificent views!

I honestly can’t think of a better place to stay.

The location is also great, close to the airport and close to Split and Trogir. There is a 2 minute path to the beach where you can walk for miles beside the sea with many restaurants and bars to choose from.

Overall this place is great and I hope I can come back sometime soon. Even my children loved it:-)

We had an amazing stay at Villa Kambel! Jelena was there to greet us, and had prepared a cold platter, wine and soft drinks ready for us, which was a really lovely touch. The villa is beautiful- exactly as the photos show, spotlessly clean and smelling like a luxury hotel. We found the location perfect; situated between Split and Trogir and an easy transfer from Split airport.

There are beaches within a few minutes walk, with a plentiful choice of bars, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. We didn’t have a car and didn’t need one. Uber is easy to use, reliable and reasonably priced. Last but not least Jelena is the most amazing host! We felt so welcome straight away, and she really made sure we had everything we needed and more. She took us to the supermarket to do our first ‘big shop’ and texted regularly with restaurant suggestions and information on how to get around. We had 2 wonderful local meals based on Jelena’s recommendations.

She really went the extra mile – thanks so much!

Jelena was a perfect host and always there for us. The villa was beautiful with everything we needed and things we didn’t realise that we wanted. It was luxurious and beautiful.
Jelena made us feel right at home from day one and I would highly recommend this host and villa for your next holiday.
The area was great and perfect for us and our teenagers loved it as there was plenty to do and some great ice cream shops. The Roman buildings and sites are worth a look, but you do need to keep an eye out for them. Split is also a great day trip via a quick Uber and then train straight into the centre markets. You can purchase a return ticket on the train, make sure you have cash on you, I think it cost us €15 for a family of 4.
